We moved ours gradually from chick crumb to growers at about 2 weeks old... they are still on growers now at 5 weeks old and will continue to be on them until at least 14 weeks old....

We get ours off chick crumb as soon as they show an interest in grower pellets. Crumb can be so messy and they waste a lot as the hens scratch it into the grass where it attracts rodents. Like OWG I start offering it at about 2 weeks, just a sprinkle mixed in with the crumb, and gradually feed more pellet and less crumb over the next 2 - 3 weeks so by 5 weeks they are pretty much off crumb are getting all pellet. Then they stay on the grower pellet till 18 weeks or whenever they get introduced into the other flocks when they switch to layers. Cocks stay on growers till about 4 weeks before slaughter when they get put on a finisher pellet.

When the bag runs out! Kept mine on till about 6 weeks which saved wasting it as I was only planning to do the 2 hatches.
