We wouldn't laugh at you for caring, Lottie, you're a good mother to your little feathered friends.
Can you section off part of their run so that she could be in with them but not got at?

Update, sectioned a bit of for daytime only, had another look at the vent she was straining, and there it was,you could just about make out the egg,now ther was no way i could feel anything resembling an egg before, and after a feel it was,she could not pass it,was trying so hard and crying out,so a warm bath, her head floped down, she was wore out, took her out wraped up in a towel, broke the egg,and with the aid of marigolds and vaselene, got everything out,so another warm soak, and a dry of,wraped in another towel head floped over my arm,and in the longe for a few steps, then in the box,am just hoping she will be ok after a good sleep, the vent area looks so much better, and pink color, she is realy thin now,MR had tears in his eyes,i was realy supprized, see what the morning brings.

Thanks VC,i saw that one,it was purly on reading up about things that i realized i had to step in and do something, just had another look at her,put her on a towel for a few steps,i cannot understand what was realy her bother, only the gleet,on previouse examinations i could not feel an egg,it seemed to happen all at once about 6.30pm,even the crop feels better now,i have been giving her a daily dose off olive oil,and vasalene at the vent, and massarged very gently the crop, she does however look a real mess underneith, from the gleet leeks,am sure i did not imagine things, but i swear her eyes are biger and bright again,i just kept calm, gave her cuddles, and got on with the delivery,i will not put her back in the same space as the others in the run, untill i know she is all good and layed an egg naturally,if someone said that i would maybe have to this,i may have been put off having any,so am hoping it's a win win win, sweet dreams.

You're doing everything you can for her, Lottie. I hope she improves tomorrow. She's bound to feel better now the egg is out. Fingers crossed.
