  • where are my runner beans?

I have a short row of dwarf runer beans. They are growing well and have lots of flowers on them. However, the flowers do not seem to be getting pollinated as they are falling off and leaving just an empty branch behind. My other crops are pollinated fine, courgettes, french beans, peas etc. Any ideas about what i can do to help them?

Probably because of the weather we are having cheeseplum. Runner Beans normally right themselves after a bout of bad weather so they should be ok.

It is a classic problem that many growers come across and can be caused by over or under-watering and pollination problems.

Keep them fed and watered and keep your fingers' crossed - that's the best you can do!
