  • what can i put in full shade?

hi guys, a little help with planning out please.
I have a lengthy border, sheltered from the sun by the boundary fencing and some lilac and laburnum trees. Every year it gets thick with nettles along there, so what can i put in there to keep it tidy and free from nettles? if its something that ends up in the kitchen pot then its a bonus.

Have a trawl through this blito. It may be of use.

You'll have to get rid of the nettles first!

Dig out the nettles first. Make sure you get them from the root as they will keep springing up everywhere.
If the laburnum and lilac are yours why not trim them back.
        Best of luck.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
