  • Veggies starting to flower

    Hi
In the last week or so, my brussel sprouts have started to sprout flowers at the top, I've cut them off and am hoping for the best.
Also my broccoli, both calabrese and psb also tend to bolt early and I seem to get very little from them, so little I'm thinking of not bothering again.
Are they missing nutrients, getting to much, or is it just the weather and pot luck?
Other things seem ok, spuds, toms, courgettes, cabbages, cauliflower.....
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

I think it's the weather - one of my Tuscan Black Kale has decided to throw a flower shoot. The summer PSB has been great though. The calabrese produced very small heads, followed by sideshoots, which I am still cutting.

Thanks for the reply, I guess I'll give the calabrese another try, and just keep my fingers crossed on the sprout front. It wont be christmas without my sprouts
