My tomatoes finally succumed to blight after the damp foggy mornings here, do I add them to the compost or bonfire pile.

Bonfire. I have stopped advising people to take blight infested veg etc to the tip. Our local tip recycles the stuff BUT, it has been noticed that bazillions of weeds grow VERY quickly from the compost so the heating process used for composting may not be up to killing all seeds and blights etc.Comment
