Don't look too bad. The main issue will be to give them enough light and warmth so that they keep growing. If you can manage that, you should get an early crop.

I'd go with the 'planting them deep' route

If you are still worried...Can you give them more light?...maybe reflected off a mirror or tinfoil?

They do look a little leggy, but don't despair. Plant them out into MPC deeper than they were in the last pot and brush their tops gently with the palm of your hand once or twice a day. This should thicken the stems and make for sturdier plants. Not forgetting as much light as you can provide. Best of luck.

Interesting idea ZsaZsa about brushing them making them stronger. Don't recall hearing that before .

^It's a Japanese technique for preparing seedlings for dealing with wind (of the meteorological variety!).

Edited to add: not sure if it's just my screen, but they look a bit yellow to me. What is the seed compost? If it's coconut coir, it might not contain much nourishment for your seedlings.
