  • Sulphate of Potash?

I am a little confused here. I was thinking that I could give my chilli's a little boost before they flower/fruit but I was told that I should not use it until I have fruit otherwise it will flower and not fruit, so do I leave it until I get fruit or can I apply now to help the plants fruit then flower?

Once fruit has begun to set a potash feed (tomato food) will be beneficial, with every other watering, this will help with forming and developing the flowers, and swelling and ripening the fruit.

btw, Sulphate of Potash is not organic, it's man-made, so if that bothers you, use Comfrey Tea instead.

Ok thanks. I didn't realise it was synthetic however I will find some uses for it, probably. I will look at the comfrey tea.
