  • pea plants

    Hi all,

On my pea plants I have developed a white sticky substance on most of the leaves, any ideas what it is?

Also something is chewing the bottom leaves of my plant also as they look devastated.

    All help appreciated

could be slug slime.....i would have said mildew if it wasnt sticky.
The chewing will be slugs or snails....have a look at the bottom of the pot!
Impossible is not a fact its an opinion...
Impossible is not a decleration its a dare...
    Impossible is potential......

I dont think its slug/snail damage, as the white substance just rubs off the tops of the leaves. It looks like some sort of mold just sitting ontop of the leaves.

With regards my lower leaves being eaten, there does seem to be some little flies knocking about the bottom tiers, but nothing visible on the plant itself.

        It'll be powdery mildew
