    Parsnips...and leeks

    Still have a few in the ground. Harvested some today for dinner. Unfortunately although edible, the parsnips are abit long in the tooth!

    LOL literally - one was over a foot long!

    Loving the fact we grew these ourselves though.

    Leeks are small but yummy! Looking forward to next years crops now

    You'll just have to get a long thin tapered pan then!

      If you think your parsnips are a bit long in the tooth Witch 1, you could make some leek, parsnip and ginger soup. Two sheds posted a recipe if you search for it. Or make it any way you like. I'm having some tonight and very delicious it is. (Thank you Two Sheds)
