    Default Paper Pots for Beginners

After searching on the interweb for instructions to make paper pots I must admit I was a bit flummoxed. I really struggled to make head nor tail of any written instructions

    Well I found a video

Its probably been posted before but thought use newbies might find it useful. I must admit to having a bit of a 'Oh so that's how you do it' moment.

Hmm I have seen the 'kit' for making them in various seed catalogues but thought it was rather expensive, thus defeating the object.

I cant get the video to open - sorry

    Default Paper Pots for Beginners

I have a "paper potter" and it is so quick to use. Nice to sit in front of the telly and make pots, and convince yourself that you are not wasting time just watching a film or whatever. Price, yes it does cost more than the paper, but if you don't want to pay out, why not have a word with Santa....

I really like this method, quick, easy and a good use of recycling!

One of the easisest things to do is use loo rolls in seed trays. They are free, don't take up any time and available in abundance from friends, family and neighbours.

I tried that and the ended up all covered in fungi and yucky mould. Haven't has that problem with paper, plus they break down much easier than those useless peat pots.

a quick blast in the microwave sorts out the mould spores (one minute on high before you add compost: I've never had any catch fire, but watch them)

But you also mustn't water them too much.
