Great stuff - well done! I suggest you try roasting them (about 40 minutes on a gas mark 4-5) - they are delicious like this - and then freezing them (if there are any left!)

Congratulations. Try buying that freshness and that taste in the supermarket. You won’t!

Good innit? I grew absolutely loads of tomatoes this year, and had much more of a harvest than ever before. And there's still a lot of green tomatoes in the greenhouse! Next year - more tomatoes and bigger planters for them!
        Well done

Nice one. My tomato harvest has been really poor this year.

Thanks everyone I knew you would all understand my excitement! I ended up making some roasted tomato soup with them- the OH wont stop telling people about my amazing soup (think that was more down to the super fresh tomatoes)
There’s still more ripening! Not sure they’ll make the freezer either

You can always semi-dry these (I've a dehydrator but you can use an oven with the door ajar.) and put in olive oil and herbs.

^Be very careful storing fruit and veg in oil due to the risk of botulism. Once in oil, store in the fridge and eat presto pronto.

Oh I’d not thought about drying them- I’d not risk saving them but love the idea of a home grown dried tomato bread- maybe next year as pretty much used them all have the odd green one but if there’s enough they’ll be made into some chutney for Christmas!
