  • Is my Courgette plant ready for outside and how are my tomatoes?

    Hi Folks.

I was wondering if it's time to harden off my Courgette plant so I can plant it outside. It's starting to take up space in the greenhouse.

I was also wondering how you thing my tomato plants are doing? I have posted up some pics. One of my tomato plants has a couple of leaves that are not looking great (I have also enclosed a pic). Any idea regarding what's wrong with it?

    Thanks

Wondering the same thing. First year growing one. I know they are tender but nights are forecast to be 7-10 for the next while. Just how tender are they? Have been hardening them off for a few days.

Am hoping to put my courgettes out by the week end, like yours, they are ready, and should be ok by then,as the weather is on the brink of ok,you could also hedge your bets, put one of each outside for a few days and nights,i bet they will be fine, then put the rest out when you happy with conditions,my toms are only inside, your tomato plants look great carry on growing eh,

The marks on the leaves of the tomato plants look a bit like botrytis to me. Perhaps they have been damaged and then dripped on or even just dripped on. Nip them of before it spreads and watch the ventilation.

Roitelet, I have snipped off the leaf

I shall start to harden off the Courgette plant next week.

You could always put a bit of fleece over the courgette once its planted out?

Sorry, one last question. One of the leaves is rotting. Would it affect the plant if I cut it off?
