I get that sometimes, I think it's just a nutrient deficiency, which you're tend to get on the lower leaves. If the others are looking ok I wouldn't worry. Otherwise you could give them a seaweed feed, that might help. To be honest I tend to ignore stuff like that... -

I agree with Shadylady, this sometimes happens when you newly transplant. Also do not forget that compost only contains a limited supply of nutrients which eventually get used or washed out, so you should feed at least once a week at this time of the year.Mr TK's blog:

Rosee, if your plants are in containers and have been there above 5/6 weeks then yes. The compost will have very little goodness in it. Before flowering I like to use a high nitrogen fertiliser like miracle grow for green growth and then change to a high potash fertiliser Tomorite for fruit growth when the plant flowers.Potty by name Potty by nature.

Certainly look rather anaemic, washed out, I suspect all the nutrients are washed out of the compost by over watering? Or maybe the roots are rotted? (sorry if I sound too cheerful!!), they remind me of some tobacco plants I had which I over watered, Hardly any green in them to get energy form the sun, that is why the plant shifts the green up to the top where the sun is.
So lack of C55H72O5N4Mg (chlorophyll) i'd say the key chemical is Mg magnesium that is where the green comes from as you can see from the emission spectrum.

They also need nitrogen of course, however seems like a drop of tomato feed would be a good idea, they should know what they are doing when they make the stuff.Comment

Yep they know what their doing, they are producing a feed to enhance fruit growth, nitrogen is much better for plant growth.Potty by name Potty by nature.
