  • horseradish and goosberry

I have just bought a horseradish thong and a gooseberry plant from Wilkinson. It will be a few days until I'm able to plant the gooseberry out and find a suitably strong container to keep the horseradish in. What should I do with them till then? Are they ok left in the packaging they came in (who knows how long they've been on Wilko's shelves like this?)? Or should I open then up and water them?

I would open them up and stand in a bucket of water to re-hydrate. Bet they're really dry after being in the shop. Keep them cool, though.

The gooseberry wants re-hydrating as rustylady says. Just plant the horseradish as soon as you can. As you obviously realise it grows like a weed and I don't think you could kill it with an A-bomb.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

Thanks, I'll give the gooseberry some water right away!
