  • garlic query

    Hi everyone
Been busy in the green house this morning and I have found some last years garlic, I could smell it first and followed my nose.
Apparently the bulbs slipped inside a plant pot and spent the winter there. My query is as they have now sprouted green shoots without any help should I throw them or replant the sprouted cloves and hope for the best?
    Thanks for any suggestions

    Hi KayJay
If you have grown some garlic already, then i would throw them away. But if you could do with a few more, then stick them in the ground outside. there's nothing to lose except maybe a foot of soil for a few months, and everything to gain if they grow to a decent and useable size. Good luck

replant them. i found soem in the garden that had escaped my attention, so I relanted some in the garden wit the rest, and some in the tunnel as a freebie for the owner.
