i have some marketmores growing and how long go i leave them before i harvest them . got one about 5ins long. will they grow any longer

That's about as big as they get Flopsy. Eat and enjoy. -
I've got them 24" long! I've even got a square one. Apparently they are ripe when YELLOW, but anytime when you require one.

Marketmore can grow to about 8" long, 5" will be good to eat. Leaving any mature fruit on a plant could turn that plant off as it thinks its done its job and produced next years seed.

I had one about 5" long I think and it had turned yellow but that is hardly surprising as most of it's
leaves had turned brown!! Might have got bigger on a healthy plant. I have another one on
another plant, which seems to have been 4 1/2 in long for ages.
