    Daft question, I know...fogive me....
    but can the pods go in the compost heap?

      Hope so, I've been (bean?) putting mine in the compost for years. Rule of thumb! Nothing with seeds in, nothing cooked (rat puller) nothing diseased, nothing too woody (like a tree stump). Everything else can go in the compost.
