this will be our 3rd year of having our lotty and yet to get a whole growing year out of it,,,the first year we got it hubby ended up having a kidney transplant so was put out of action,,although we managed to get some of the ground work done and raised beds put in ,,last year we where really getting on top of things finished the ground work done the rest of the beds got a shed and a greenhouse put up,,got spuds in a few beans ,peas then he busted his knee and was out of action all summer so that put a spanner in the works

really hoping we get a growing year this year ,,,,but who knows

Fingers crossed you get a good year this year. Now all the hard work seems to be done do you need him with you to get growing? It might be safer to wrap him in cotton wool and put him away safely somewhere
S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

Good luck Yellow Strawb. I'd keep him out of the equation too - but my lottie's a short walk away. (I don't drive either.) He'd be better driving you there and then being put on brewing up duties!

Has to be third time lucky.
my brother in law got a kidney transplant two or three years ago and its made such a difference to his life.
Good luck to you both and hope its a good summer weather wise which makes all the difference.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
