I just bought it from the supermarket and then put it in a warm place near the window for it to start sending out eyes. Can take a good few weeks for this to start.

Enthused by this thread I have just bought some online. It looks a bit like Oca tubers from the photo which I am also growing. The foliage on Oca though looks more like clover foliage from what I can see so wonder whether Oca is a legume?

Watched a video on utube saying once the foliage dies the turmeric is done.

Soooo.....to get the turmeric powder I presume you just scrape the tuber, dry it out and powder it with a pestle and mortar?

No, oca is an Oxalis. They all have those clover-like trifoliate leaves.
