I wouldn't worry too much about having a greenhouse for them. Just put them outside, preferably next to a wall on the patio, which will act as a heat sink. They should do pretty well still, especially in the south of the UK. It doesn't matter whether you use the ground, a pot, or a trough.

Just don't let them get nipped by any late frost and be prepared for the first frost in October to kill them. The difference between growing under glass, and outside, is that the growing season is about 3-4 weeks shorter. But that doesn't mean you won't get good results still.

I grew Dominica cucumbers outdoors last year with excellent results. I maybe harvested around 30 big, fat 15 inch long cucumbers from 4 plants last year. But like yourself, this year I am growing Telegraph Improved cucumbers. I only have one in the greenhouse and will plant another 4-5 outdoors next week once the frost risk is totally gone.

I'd put them outside in the ground or in large pots. I grew mine outside last year and had a huge crop. I'm in Lincolnshire, near the sea, so maybe more stable temperatures than elsewhere, but last year was sooo hot. I have too much that wants to be indoors in my greenhouse, so no room for the cucumbers.

When you're unsure which is the best option, I'd suggest trying them all - in the outbuilding, in the GH and outdoors. That way, you will see for yourself what works best.
I often plant one in, one out for my own satisfaction. The outdoor plant usually fruits later but that's all.
