I dunno, might be the glasses
she's a bit too what we used to call 'right on' for me(vegetarian/green/eco /savetheworldfromeverything etc)
There's nothing wrong with any of those things, I do realise, but she's nothing like anybody I know IYSWIM. So I can't relate to her myself.

I struggle to relate to anyone who gardens in a dress
Sarah Rave-on is another one in her cardies and beads. I may be making this up but that's my image of her.

Yes she does, yet Carol K can wear weird clothes sometimes, but I don't mind her, for some reason
Perhaps I think she's just as crackers as I am hahahaha

                I can't listen to Carol K.

Good thing I don't watch much gardening on TV - I seem to have problems with most of the presenters.

Yes, I like Carol's work, but I find her way of speaking just winds me up....

                  Thanks for the heads up.

There are some ‘gardening’ experts that really should not be allowed. I struggle with CK’s constant use of Latin names for everything.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

The comments about the dress made me laugh. With you on that one. Also on Carol K. I think she’s very knowledgable but I find her hard to listen to. Subtitles work I find.

Worryingly it seems that most of us ladies have issues with the female presenters. I get the impression that most are on TV to make a name for themselves/make a point - veggie, save the world etc and not just in gardening (sorry VC *back peddles on tangent to avoid pointy stick) and do rather shove it down my throat rather than most of the male presenters who are more ‘down to earth’ or relatable. Perhaps that’s why I’ve always had more lad friends than girls though.

I’ll give this a go on iPlayer later as you don’t know until you try.

I also have a problem with Bob Flowerypoo and his ponytail. As soon as I see him my fingers start snipping at the scraggy thing.

I will tolerate all those mentioned above but won't watch Monty Don

I think I have the same problem as I have often requested OH to remove the dress when out in the garden but she won't do it, I think she is worried what the neighbours might think
As for the presenters its the information that they are passing on they should be judged on nor their dress or looks

And yes I am still bored
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
