  • Tromba Gallery - 2018

Tromba, Tromboncino, Trombone - and other similar names for a funny shaped squash that is guaranteed to make you smile.

Its time to decide on who has grown the Funniest, Amusing, Ridiculous Tromba of 2018. (Yes, I know what the initials spell).

I've copied some of the photos from the original thread https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...ion_95762.html

but, if I've missed any out that you think should be included, please say, and I'll copy them in.

Also, if you have any more entries please add them.

There won't be a Poll as I think they are all winners but feel free to name and shame the ones you think are the F. A. R. T. iest. with reasons

          OK, here's the biggest one:
72 cm long (just over 28 inches), 1045 g in weight (37 ounces), 24 cm (9.5 inches) at the widest circumference. Now to see if I can post pictures:

Edited to add: the weight is just the tromba, not the plate as well.

Ooh, look, I've got a seal.
Do you think it's the seal of approval?

The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.

it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

I've picked a couple of very impressive troms ( for my climate) today.

The first one I forgot to photograph ( gutted ! ) 19 1/2cm at widest point, 64cm long, weight 800g

Second one I did remember to photograph.
