  • Squash question

We had a frost last night, quite unexpected

Will my squash be ok, they look ok, but the leaves that were left have died

  • #2
I'd cut the vine a few inches either side of where the pumpkin stem joins it (to form a T) and bring them in. With the leaves dead it won't be doing any more growing so move it somewhere frost free.

I've just been to check on mine and the leaves are still alive so I'll give it a little while for mine but if I think that we'll get a frost I'll take them up.

I've brought all of mine in now, we've had frosts the last 2 nights, and more in the forecast. Better safe than sorry I say
