  • Growing Lilies from seed

There are some big seedheads on a couple of lilies so, I just have to try to grow the seeds. According to RHS Lily Group - Growing lilies from seed it may take up to 3 years to produce a leaf, let alone a flower

Has anyone grown a lily from seed and can share their experience please?

Never grown lilies! But after seeing lots of lilies in the flower a day thread I'm very tempted to give them a go. Probably not from seed though! That sounds like a lot of patience is needed!

        Seldom found in women

That's a load of rubbish, men need a lot of patience especially if they are married
