  • Random Questions 2 - The Odd Strikes Back

Things I mull over in the quiet times at work and home. Here's one:

If you drop soap on the floor is the floor clean or the soap dirty?
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

          Here's another -
Does expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?

So we need to expect the unexpected, which makes the unexpected expected, so is the expected unexpected still unexpected?

Huh, I wasn't expecting to be thinking about that. Or because it was unexpected should I have expected it?

Engineers answer - it depends on the state of the floor and how damp the soap is when it fell and how you cleans up the impact area.
