    Anyone want to go to the ball ?

    Just returned home from a weeks Holiday in the Lakes.
    The pumpkin (Mini Sugar) has gone ballistic.
    Ballistic is a good word as Mini Sugar produces cannon ball sized fruits.
    On return I have just picked 8 off it and there are still more to come.

    There are usually a few mice around so if anyone knows the spell you could conjure up a coach and horses fit to go to the ball.

    I guess it's pumpkin soup.

    Anyone any other exciting recipes ?

      I don't grow many but do enjoy them roasted in chunks with other veg.

            Pumpkin soup was nice
            Any one tried pumpkin wine (or courgette wine)
            There are recipes on the net.
            But does it taste any good ?

                I like small squash stuffed and baked, rice and cheese or mince and tom sauce - that kind of thing
