Are you asking about raspberries & Blueberries or gooseberries?

My raspberries get a mulch of well rotted manure and leaf mould late winter/early spring (which the birds love to pull about looking for bugs and make a mess). Other than that, I might add some nettle tea in spring and comfrey tea once the flowers appear. Otherwise I do nothing except harvest lots of fruit.
Goosberries get the mulch but not the feed ( I have too many already). Blueberries get home made compost mulch and leaf mould late spring (they are in a pot though) and some comfrey tea feed.

Ref Gooseberries - I have Hinno red - very young - they have started to fruit but they're green!
Any ideas? do they change colour as they ripen?.....

Only go red when they ripen - they end up a dark burgundy colour if you can keep them on the bush long enough. No harm in giving your plants a bit of liquid feed around now BTW - its not the cheapest method, but something like "miracle gro" will do a job, unless you have manure or whatever to spare.
