  • Potting on peppers/chillies

Is it a good idea to remove the bottom leafs from peppers and chillies so to plant deeper when potting on?

Plant them as deep as you can without removing leaves.

No. Plant them up to the level of the bottom leaves but no deeper. Chillies don't root from the stem the way tomatoes do so any deeper and you run the risk of the stem rotting if the compost is on the damp side.
