  • Table Grape Vine For Greenhouse

Please could someone recommend a sweet table/dessert grape that can grown in a container in a greenhouse?

    Best regards,
    Greg

Black Hamburg is the standard classic for this - I'd always advise planting any vine in the ground, not a container though.

If you are in a position where you have to move and want to take your vine with you, then best bet would be to grow a few new ones from cuttings taken in the Autumn, and leave the old one behind.

Monty Don bought a Lakemont grape vine. Snadger bought a Lakemont grape vine because Monty had. I have no idea how his is getting on and have yet to see whether mine will survive the winter indoors.
Its a grafted seedless grape which he liked the taste of. Time will tell whether I ever get to taste mine!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

      Diversify & prosper
