    Time to plant out cabbages?

    Hi guys
    I planted some cabbage excel in root trainers and they are now about 6 in tall. Do you think I would be ok to plant out with plastic bottle cloches on them?
    I'm worried about getting their roots restricted and could really do with the root trainers for something else?
    Any thoughts?

    As long as you cultivate the ground well before you transplant in the roots should grow away fine.The plastic bottles do really work like mini greenhouses and should keep them warm but ventilated and keep the lid so that over night if you hear of a frost or heavy rain you can just screw it on.
