Hi - This is my first ever time for joining any forum of any sort.
I have a largish garden and love to grow my own fruit and vegetables. I am self sufficient in weeds.
I am hoping to connect to like minded folks for advice and tips on growing.

Hi, muck lover, and welcome to the vine. You couldn't have chosen a better forum to join, everyone is very friendly and there's no squabbling at all. Perhaps that's because we are all gardeners or budding gardeners, and gardeners are patient people. That's what growing plants teaches you above all - patience.

thank you for your welcome. Regarding the weeds I am actually planning on harvesting quite a lot of them. Two of my sons are into green blended smoothies and so this year I will be trying to grow lots of spinach and kale, chard, turnip and beet leaves etc.But meanwhile I think I will also be taking dandelion leaves, chickweed, bitter cress, new nettle leaves, and ground Elder to contribute to their habit.
