  • Snow!

Here in the middle bit of the country we’ve woken up to a dusting of snow that was not forecast...

Wondering if I should panic buy bread & milk, or just get on with the ironing...

We had a sprinkling of snow too. Only ‘stuck’ on the greenhouse roof, but I think I might also get on with the ironing and leave digging until the ground has warmed up a bit this afternoon!

No snow here! Should I complain because I've been ignored or rejoice that I don't have to look for the iron?

        Ner sner here either

And yes, I HAVE to iron later on today....so probably just as well

I do however need to get some shoes/ankle boots with a bit more of a tread-most these days seem to just have pretty ridging underneath.

Everyone stocked up with rock salt?....Any left over is apparently good for asparagus beds...in small amounts anyway!

We've had a bit of a dusting and it's Blady cold too, but the sun is now out so it's not sticking around.

We have snow on the hills, but none here, just a hard frost.

No snow here, but a hard frost -2C overnight in the greenhouse Brrr

I think I may find out just how hardy some things are (or not?) this winter

No idea what we had,as i not long woken up,looks like we had something wet,and sun is trying, twas chilly on my egg collection, snow can create some nice scenery,as well as chaos, but just not near me,am getting to old to be bothered.

It was -1 at about 1am here, icy no doubt in the morning but I was hibernating in bed. Had a late night last night waiting for my daughter to come home,I txt her & they were at borley rectary ghost hunting,as long as she was getting a lift & I didn't have to scrape the windscreen in the middle of the night I didn't mind, stayed up till 3am waiting,it's worrying all the young drivers that might not have experienced icy roads before, especially the country lanes that are very curvy. Stay safe!
