  • Question to all VSL hosts......

Now if I’ve counted correctly, there are 8 seperate Virtual Seed Lists, but perhaps 7 different hosts, think Sparrow100runs 2.

My question to you all is, if I’ve read it right, most lists I think, open November 1st for swaps..... I’ve been rootling through my seed box and have a stockpile of new, unopened commercial (not self saved) seeds, all very fresh, some so new only just launched to the public....

I’d like to send them into the VSL , but don’t require any swaps at this time....(perhaps never).

Will you accept them before the opening date, or is that too much faff for you all.....?

There's just 3of us, Sparrow, Norfolk Grey and myself. Greenleaves has the brassicas that no one requests, so that one was outgoing only...although sparrow has taken over the interesting Kales. We were getting inundated with the everyday seeds that are often given out free with magazines and are very easily obtained in the likes of L1dl for 30pence or so. To make it manageable we were trying to only accept interesting /heritage varieties so that we aren't left with boxfulls of seeds that are easy to buy when you pop in the shop for your milk.
I'll happily accept what you have and pass it on....though I can only send out toms or chillies. Unfortunately last year it wasn't used much so the seeds are getting old. I may do a clear out at some point.

Okey dokey, I’ll flick through my pile again, and remove the less exciting stuff, I’ll send you a list of what I think looks interesting and you can decide what I should send.... fr example I have unused onion seed from real seeds.

I want to make it easy for you chaps as I’m really greatful for what you do....

      Cheers.
