  • If you had to choose?

IF you had to choose one genus of plants in your garden, which would it be?
    Being a self-confessed planta-Holic- It's a very tough call but I think I'd opt for
    Primula (family Primulaceae) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primula

I just love the variations in colour and form from the

I'd have to choose the nightshade family-solenaceae so I can still have potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, cape gooseberry & petunias then it would be quite similar to now,I can see a pest problem with just those,we could get the neighbours to choose something different & we can do a swap if it's allowed?

          Cor...that's a difficult choice!
          Allium, daffs/narcissi or poppies?

Probably the daffs/narcissi as they welcome Spring and lift the heart over a period of several weeks.

                            Easy: has to be Rosaceae.

Apples, pears, apricots, plums, cherries, peaches, raspberries, strawberries, almonds...

Hawthorns, rowans, pyracantha, photinia, potentilla, alchemilla, geum, spiraea...

                            And of course roses!

                            (Thanks wikipedia).
