    greetings to all,

i'm new to the site although not to gardenning, i suffer with ill health and a small wallet so tend to search for bargains and cheaper ways of doing things including recycling things for the garden.

have been in my new house less than ten months yet my veg plot is up and running as well as two salvaged greenhouses and a saved potting shed. its cost me a bit more in raw materials this time as ive laid gravel between beds to keep things tidy an extravagance my wife cursed when she was shovelling it........

i do vegetables, flowers and Bonsai, only recently giving up the role of secretary for the Humberside bonsai society due to my health. i'm looking forward to swapping tips and ideas with you guys and welcome any messages or questions.

    regards

Hi Wolf and welcome to the madhouse... sorry I mean grapevine

If you're after cheap bits for te garden (aren't we all ) check out the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle thread all about suggestions on reusing household 'rubbish'. I can personally vouch for the milk bottle / compst scoop, tried it out after reading the thread and it works a treat! If you have any to add, please do

Welcome Wolf, know nothing about bonsai but have large garden and trees seed all over the place so can get plenty babies. Is it possible to make bonsai in pots from them and how. I wouldn't want to make them too minature, more just a size for growing in pots out doors. Any suggestions from your expertise welcome.
