Anyone know anything about Banana mint?
    I think I've lost mine
It's been pampered as well! Kept in the polytunnle over winter. My strawberry & pineapple mints have both survived. Both have new growth on them but nothing from the banana yet.
    Any ideas, suggesting welcome.

Ha ha yeah I'm growing Eau de Cologne mint as well, it's not the best tasting mint in the world is it !? But it's pretty. There's some interesting varieties on that link. Think I'll stick with the 10 or 12 I've got, but you never know
I've found a replacement for my banana mint here

If I can't resuscitate my plant.

Can someone sort that link out its not right.....thank you

I'm not really sure why I grow all these different mints. Tea is the drink of the devil and I don't go near it . And I don't really like ice cream that much, especially after my one and only ever attempt at making mint ice cream

Any other ideas what I can do with it?

Not sure SP I only usually make tea, drinking it either hot or cold not milk or sugars.

I do that with the normal mint, but don't fancy banana mint ( or strawberry, or pineapple) sauce with my lamb. I know I'm fussy.

I like mint sauce on chips

I love the various mints too - brushing past them, rubbing a leaf, having a nibble - but for cooking its just the bog standard ones.
Banana mint is a new one for me - strawberry too. I've lost the labels to most of my mints and can't tell them apart but I have basil, moroccan, ?eau de cologne, pineapple and others.

Anyone fancy a mint cuttings swap?

I'll do a mint swap with you VC
I'd love a small basil mint cutting please.
                              What would you like?
                              Apple
                              Strawberry
                              Lemon
                              Lime
                              Chocolate
I think that's everything that you haven't already got.
Obviously you can have more than one
There will be banana later in the year because I'm definitely going to replace mine if he doesn't make it.
