assuming you WANTED a pair of egg and chips plants (though I can't imagine why you would) is there a saving to be made on the p&p that would negate the glaring price hike of buying two together?

AFAIK the postage would be the same whether you bought 1, 2 or 100

I'm guessing they mean a saving of 9.99(ish) when paying 19.99 for two instead of 29.98 (when price for one is 14.99) - but yeah, still seems odd when you can buy two separate ones for less

I saw the "Egg and chip" plant for the first time on the internet on 1st April and just presumed it was an April Fool. I forgot T & M don't have a sense of humour.

                Dear veggiechicken
                Thank you for your post.

The saving for the buy 2 plants is if you were to buy the individual plants at full price. The reduced price for the single Egg & Chips plant has a saving of £7 off the original price of £14.99. We haven't carried through the saving to the 2 x Egg & Chips plants.

I hope that this explanation helps clarify. If you would like any further information please do not hesitate to contact me again. I'll be more than happy to help.

                Kind regards
                Anne

                  Thank you Anne.
                  I'm just puzzled because I can buy 2 plants @ £7.99 each for £15.98

or, buy your second offer of 2 for £19.99

I would have written this in rhyme
But didn't really have the time.

Exactly, the T&M response makes no sense.

If you buy two singly you have to pay double postage, does this make a difference?

Doesn't look like you do, seemed to be £4.95 regardless of how many you order

Doesn't work like that, Potty. You can add as many single plants as you llke to your order - I tried Still one p&p charge.
