    Hi,

I have been looking at getting a 8x6 harmony greenhouse, the area i live in is quite open, does anyone have this greenhouse and how does it handle in windy weather?

    Thanks very much

I have the Palram Harmony & is holding up fine but like many Polycarb GH's, extra bracing may be an idea.

Yes GG, mine is secured to scaffold boards to give me extra height. Due to the single glazing sliding into slots rather than w clips, I find I don't need to put any extra support into them. If you are in an exposed area, you may need to think about extra battons across the panels.

Some reviews talk about the noise the panels make in the wind but I can't comment on that as it is too far away for me to hear them.

i sleep on the front of the house and it will be quite abit of a distance a way from the i house, looking forward to getting it and starting a new season,

last year i had a cheap one from wilko but was a nightmare with condensation so hoping i achieve better results with this one

Well good luck with whichever you decide to go for, read plenty of reviews & pick the right one for you.

I haven't added any extra bracing to the windows but if you were to silicone them, I would put it in the channel before sliding the panels in. Remember they slide down slots & do not clip in like most GH's. I don't think there is much room for staging so I don't have any.

GG, I don't know what your budget is but for £399 you could have a 6x8 with toughened glass, an automatic opening roof window and a louvre window.

I'm sure you'll have no problem with it, while you're awaiting delivery, decide how you are going to mount it & have the materials ready, whether it be breeze blocks, timber or just paving slabs.
