When buying pick & mix spuds it helps to have some tissues handy to separate the varieties!
A layer of Anya, say, a tissue on top, then a layer of Charlotte, tissue, etc.
If you write on the tissue as you put it in the bag, it helps avoid the confusion when you get home and don't know which is which spud...............just saying

The Wilco idea is a good one for those of us who don't want 100's of seed spuds so I am going for a look to see if our local one has got this.

8, as found in many small grower bags is not enough and 20 is too many.

I had a look at the Pondstrstecher tatties yesterday Jack, after a short hum and R I didn't get them as they felt very 'odd' - all squishy.

Poundland have got seed potatoes in but only Desiree in my local one and they were already sprouting, although they felt firm.

If you pre-chit, then chop your seed spuds up once they have chitted. As long as there is at least one chit to each piece of spud it will grow and crop as normal

I think I need to take a trip to poundstretcher. If there's one thing I like more than gardening, it's a good bargain! Haha

Word to the wise. Bought Aron Pilot off market stall years ago and I'm positive they weren't. Got thinking about it and say if he was selling out of one variety and another isn't selling, all a bit easy to spread the taties around the crates.

Pound stretchers fruit trees are $4, that should be pounds. What a bargain, you can't not buy one!
