Need help identifying Cherry tree disease

Is it just on the new young growth? Uncurl the leaves and look at the back of them, you may well find aphids. If it's. Not that, can we have some more photos, one of the whole tree would also help.

here are some more pictures.

I checked for aphids but can only find one or two here or there, it doesn't seem like an infestation. But I do have ladybirds flying in on a regular basis.
I just assumed that if they are curling that much that it is probably bad for the tree, but having less than a handful of aphids on it shouldn't cause such a strong response right?

The tree is also planted in the ground but very young, about 3 years old or so. On a dwarfing rootstock.

This looks like a plum, not a cherry.

I do have a plum as well but it does look very different to this one unless it is a different variety. It does have some fruit that look like cherries and it was sold to me as a cherry tree, so I'm hoping it is one - if not doesn't matter. But do I have to worry about the leaf curl?

Cherry plum possibly? I have a couple of those, the fruit is delicious! I think the leaf curl is aphids, same as the other tree.

Those leaves look very plum like and not very cherry like.
