    Anyone know anything about them?

Any good or are they yet another unusual fruit that are unusual because they're either low yielding or taste awful?

The taste is OK. Comparisons with blueberries are wrong, I think, since they're much sharper/more acidic. To me they remind me more of raspberries or blackberries than anything.

Yield is OK in terms of number of fruit, but the only fruit I've seen are small, smaller than sellers typically suggest, so yield in terms of lb/kg is low. I'm not sure if this is just the varieties I have - this year I decided to double down and add another variety that is supposed to have very large fruit. If even that struggles to produce a decent yield I might get rid.

They do seem to be very little trouble to grow though. I don't really water mine, prune them, or do anything to it except pick the fruit. They're very tough, hardy plants.

      Thanks.

Forgot to ask if any value ornamentally or scentwise.

Mine arrived in 9cm pots last year so will repot now but don't expect any fruit for a while.

Well, the flowers are small and not particularly noticeable. I think they do have a bit of a scent, but you only notice it if you get pretty close.

What I like about the plant is that firstly, it leafs out earlier than most of the other fruit bushes, and green in early spring is always good, and secondly the leaves have a pleasant velvety texture when touched. It's not a very flashy plant though.
