I saw this in Poundland and thought I'd give them a go. Does anyone else have any experience of these - so they actually work?

Devices like that work........, but.........also kill a lot of plants, many many plants need to dry out between waterings or they get root rot ,its always best to let nearly all pot grown plants (there are some exceptions) dry out between waterings, so not a good idea to have constant watering

      Cool. How much were they?
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
      Pumpkin pi.

They would give you an extra few hours between watering depending on the capacity - but most plants don't like to be wet all the time - moist maybe wet no.

300 ml capacity - my toms need about 1 litre a day in the summer sometimes more if the GH is a tad warm.

The opening at the bottom does seem to be rather large - I may partially block it with some card to really have it as a trickle. They are both half liter in size.

I was thinking of testing them on a tomato plant when they get to that stage.
