  • Ornamental Lemon Tree

hi all, im growing ornamental Lemon Trees from seed, id like to know if im supposed to cut the tops off, whether that will make them become bushy like the ones you buy at nurseries. and at what height would you suggest that is done?

The advice I've heard from an 'expert' on a Gardeners' World is to let them grow as tall as poss to get maximum yield, that being 8-9'. It was recommended that the tip be not pinched at the 4-5' range.
I think this is different for ornamentals due to the rootstock and the nature of the way that they are grown in nurseries (which are predominantly abroad).
