  • Unwanted wildlife gardening

In 2012 wild ducks and cabbage whites decimated all the veggies, we had hardly anything left. Spent a fortune in time and money last year on making frames covered in netting to keep them off. It worked. First new wildlife appearing in our garden this year was a cabbage white, hatched out in the greenhouse, and yesterday while rooting round for odd pots under some pallets, got shouted at by an angry mallard nesting under there. I let the butterfly out and am now waiting to see how many new veggie eating ducklings hatch out.

They are so cute/funny when they are following mum about, it is impossible to get angry.
Bet you don't have many slugs though.
Feed the soil, not the plants.
    (helps if you have cluckies)
