Hi all, I'm fairly new on here and this is my first year allotment, so I apologise if I'm posting in the wrong place ect..but....

I planted new raspberry canes in spring. 2 floricane and one primocane varieties. Now I know it says to cut out the old fruiting canes and tie in new growth...but this first year is all new growth, so just wondering to cut or not to cut anything ?

    thanks

Very simply , if it has fruited cut it out. It'll die off anyway so you might as well give new canes more room.

All new growth, so don't cut anything.
