  • Sick Herbs

I have some pots of herbs that were growing well on balcony, but suddenly they look like they are dying!

French Tarragon, was about 2 ft high, collapsing, yellowing, almost dead looking, no new shoots.
Coriander, spindly and gone to seed, pretty white flowers,!
    Oregano, shrinking in size almost
Even the Mint that was looking v good seems to dying off.

The pots are large, it is reasonably sheltered, but we live by River?

Any ideas please, maybe remove up to Allotment ?

How long have they been in the pots?

This Spring, maybe 2 months? All were new, apart from mint.

I don't see how living by a river could possibly affect your plants. It's more likely to be under or over watering, or the compost you have them in. You say large pots - how large? Maybe too big for your plants?

Coriander does go to seed very easily. Best to sow fresh.

Two months in the pot of compost I would guess they have run out of nutrients and need a feed.

I'll give them a little feed, might take the Tarragon up to plot, see if it likes it better there.
