Great but how does it work how do you redeem once you buy!

I bought them last time round six weeks ago. Buy voucher from Groupon, they send you the email with a special code, go to company website and put in the code to redeem. You still need to pay for shipping, but I think it was �7.99. Good quality trees as well, mine are growing nicely in large pots.

Ok I took the plunge 3 hours ago still no code is that a normal timeframe! Or should I have had it by now

got a email from groupon sent me a link cost of postage �5.99

I've used Groupon in the past and had terrible experiences with them and vowed to never use them again (as have a number of my friends), however if your experience is better then that's good news. At this time of year there are a lot of offers going on directly with retailers so also check them out to see if they have the same or similar deals. You'll often find it a little easier to deal directly with retailers rather than having Groupon as an intermediary IF the deals are the same price. If Groupon is cheaper than roll with it.

All I'd say is - its a bit late in the year to be planting bare root fruit trees. If they're potted, that's OK.

Are you sure? If the same as the previous offers they are bare root. I've just looked at the offer i think you're talking about and i'm not convinced they are potted... suitable for potting, yes. Potted - no.

On the plus side the ones i got were pretty tough. Early arrival of baby meant they were in their box for a couple of weeks and then left with their roots lying in the stream for another couple of weeks and 4 out of 5 are now growing nicely having been planted a fortnight ago!

Mine are a good five feet tall. Healthy plants too, all coming into leaf now. Not expecting great things in the first year, but they look like they will establish well for next year.
