Hi guys,
I've got a spot of bother with my Plum tree (image link below). It looks to my eye, almost as if it's dying, or succumbed to a serious scab infection? It certainly doesn't look as healthy as it did back in April/May time. Back then, it put on a good 6-10 inches of growth on all branches, but (and this is where I think it's scab?) it rained, rained and rained again to the extent that the leaves began to fall off due to the 'browning' captured below.
It is in a pot, yes, but don't worry, it's received sufficient drainage, it's never been waterlogged, nor under-watered and has been given an initial (when it was first planted) Fish, Blood & Bone fertiliser, just to help it take hold.
The roots were quite happy, fitting well within the container as well.
