Pam Warhurst: How we can eat our landscapes | Video on TED.com

Inspiring is exactly the right word. I am full of admiration for this lady and her friends and all that they have achieved. I was offered a place on a free coach trip to Todmorden on 19th Sept, organised by the Wales Federation of City Farms and Gardens. That shows you how far their fame has spread. Twelve hours on a coach, in one day, put me off accepting, but otherwise, I would have been there like a shot.
I hope the Incredible Edible Movement eventually spreads worldwide. Good luck to them and what they stand for!

I love ted, great site - there's a few growing / fruit / veg vids on there

      the quote:

Is so evident in kids today. I'm glad my little un was a bit confused when I showed her peas in a bag, she couldn't put it in words but "peas in the garden" made me realise she understood that they grew outside - and was confused why they were in a plastic packet!
